    Contemporary

Expressive, creative movement that encourages artistic freedom. Develop strength, flexibility, and your own unique dance voice.

    Express Yourself

Contemporary dance is about breaking free from rigid structures to find authentic, expressive movement. Our contemporary program encourages students to explore their individual artistry while developing strong technical foundations.

Classes incorporate elements from various modern dance techniques, including release technique, floorwork, and improvisation. Students learn to use their bodies expressively, telling stories through movement.

Contemporary is an excellent complement to classical ballet training, offering students a broader movement vocabulary and creative outlet.
